Hire a luxury VW Campervan for the day to chase the Covid-19 blues away!
Over the coming weeks, the government set out its plan to return life to as normal as possible and as part of this, you are allowed to spend time outdoors and travel further.
The official government announcement states these key points; from 13th May 2020 people in England are allowed to:
- drive to outdoor open spaces irrespective of distance. You can travel to outdoor open spaces, in a private vehicle, alone or with members of your own household
- travel to beaches and beauty spots. But you should check first if facilities, such as car parks, are open to receive visitors
- travel to the countryside – but continue to follow the Countryside Code by respecting the local community and protecting the natural environment
With this in mind, we think a campervan day trip is a perfect way to enjoy a day out, away from your home in the open spaces. Your very own self contained cabin fever buster on wheels!
Our VW California Campervans are considered to be the Rolls-Royce of the Campervan world. With an onboard kitchen, running water, and a gas hob, you’ll have everything you need to be completely self-sufficient and comfortable for the entire day.
Why not also add the optional portable toilet to your booking? That way you can be sure to avoid any situations where it might be difficult to maintain social distancing. You’ll also have peace of mind and be safe in the knowledge that nobody else has used it. With the easily extended blackout screens in the campervan, you can always be sure of some privacy (just for when you need it!).
From just £125, the ‘Day Tripper’ experience is the perfect way to adopt campervan life. Pick-up is available from 8 am and return by 6 pm, allowing you to enjoy the whole day. This experience includes;
- Unlimited mileage
- Fully comprehensive insurance (as standard)
- Single driver
Additional drivers and a portable toilet can be added extra.
The ‘Day Tripper’ is only available during periods of restricted movement during the Coronavirus pandemic and will be withdrawn on 4th July 2020.
